Week 4.
[Another trial. Another execution. This is beginning to get fairly routine at this point - something has to happen soon, don’t you think?
Luckily for you all, that might just be the case. The fourth floor is open, and free to explore. But there’s something dark lurking up here, and it’ll become clear to you that there’s more to this whole thing than what’s been described to you.
You’re getting close to your final days here. Make the most of it.]
(important ooc notes: 1. There is an official activity check this week! If you plan on hanging with us through the end, feel free to hit that up!
2. I am looking for a volunteer to do a one-on-one plot-heavy thread on Tuesday afternoon around motive time! If you’re interested, please get in touch with me.)

SATURDAY - Day 20.

It dawns on him that he could have died right there because he was mislead by the evidence. Years' worth of work, all for nothing. Mortality is not something one worries about often in the Glade of Dreams, but the thought that he could die down there one day is not helping improve his mood.
He grabs a few plums and strawberries before checking the new floor for a remote spot to eat in peace, but his attention is caught by the bar. You know what? He deserves this.
For the remainder of the day, The Magician sits on the counter with his pile of fruit and the smallest glass of wine he could find, staring at the display behind the counter. Maybe he shouldn't do this to his brilliant mind, but whatever.
He needs to de-stress.

His poking and prodding is interrupted when Ales enters the bar. Going unnoticed is easier when you're, well, a ghost that can pass through objects, so it actually takes Compress a while to show his presence. He has no regrets for what he attempted to do not very long ago, but he liked Ales enough to feel bad enough about the possibility he could have died]
You should stop looking like you're on the verge of taking an entire bottle instead of that small glass.

Bar
[Liv's actually out exploring, this week, given the lack of new material to analyze.]
Dulling the senses, in a place where potentially anyone might want to kill you. Mind if I join?

SUNDAY - Day 21.

Literally.
A pillow has been tied to the rack and torn open, liquor from broken bottles are seeping out of the iron maiden, and Mim herself is sitting around on the breaking wheel spinning it like an office chair while chugging a bottle of rum.]
They finally opened the bar! Time to have some real fun!
[And then she throws a pear of anguish at you.]

Dennis hasn't been one to turn down hard liquor since he was like, twelve, and given that he's spent his adult life "bartending" (i.e. fucking off and doing whatever at a bar while ignoring customers), he's accustomed to all the different ways people imbibe. Including chugging. He dodges the pear of anguish and picks his way to through some of the bottles, selecting scotch.]
Why are you animals always throwing things? Your aim's shit, by the way.

MONDAY - Day 22.

Later, you can also find him in the kitchen... staring down the microwave, or maybe it's the stove or the coffee maker.
Vaati has been here a month and he still hasn't figured out how to use these things. A diet of fruit and veggies and whatever else is in the fridge (which he did at least figure out) can only get you so far. He needs to figure out how to use these in order to make more food to eat.
... So uh, if you smell smoke at any time today, don't panic, I'm sure it's fine?]
Kitchen
[ Hey, buddy! Rex leans against a nearby...toaster, crossing his arms as he looks at Vaati with an amused look on his face. ]
You need some help? Or are 'ya just gonna go and push me over again?

And entire mechanical fortress? This...it's incredible!
[And awful considering that he's locked here but still. Amazing. He runs to grab a pencil and pen and starts copying every moving part he's able to glean from the view. Any gears, any pistons, any part that appears to be important. The pages and pages of drawings are pretty accurate and detailed, with separate sheets dedicated to different components. Another page dedicated to general layout with labels.
He's never felt this energized until today.]
conservatory
[She knows that he's actually more interested in what's outside the window, but Ashe can't help teasing the little guy. Even if he is a pain in the ass.]

Probably against his better judgement, he heads in to check that there's no body before he goes back downstairs. ]

MOTIVE: World-Ending Thrashing
BWAHAHAHA! Tremble before the great and terrible Bowser, peons! If you don’t make moves to join the Legion by the end of the week, I’ll thrash your home universes!
That’s right! Just pummel em into submission! How are you supposed to conquer your homeworlds if all your loved ones are getting punched by ME! So make up your mind, bozos!
[The screen fades.]

Leaving the conversation this soon?

meeting, i guess?
When there, he repeats everything that he saw during the motive announcement yesterday.
Once he's done, he shrugs. ] You can go up and see the big hole in the wall, if you think I'm joking. I'm just telling what I saw.
