[Eventually, after enough searching, a door seemingly appears from nowhere - leading out to a large circular room. There’s a handful of chairs, but not enough for all of you, meaning some of you might have to walk around for a bit. Which is more than fine - this place seems to be filled up to the brim with knick-knacks. Most specifically the clone pods adorning the wall here as well, as well as some fairly innocent lab equipment and scrap metal. Someone used to work here.

Once you’ve all gathered, a voice calls out to you. From within the area.]

[So, while this is going on, Liv is going to painfully limp-crawl towards the nearest approximation of shelter and start searching through those blueprints, looking for the robot design that seems closest to Mecha Sonic.]

[He might not be a creation of this dimension's Eggman, but there's clearly a similar line of thought being followed.]

[There is indeed a Metal Sonic in here! He is much smaller and cuter but seems to be a decent match.]

[Any exploitable points or failsafe devices?]

[No failsafe - the Doctor was bad at designing those. But it seems that a lot of his wiring is focused around the head area - to the point where removing that would be fatal.]

[Dammit Eggman.]

[Still though, at least his design is shitty in multiple ways.]

[Liv peeks over whatever the hell she's hiding behind- shouting a plan is probably a bad idea a this point, but Mecha Sonic is occupied with Trivium...]

[So she's just going to try waving and catching someone's attention. Erik would be good, he's already done this once today, apparently, but she'll take whoever's paying attention.]

[If she manages to catch anyone's eye, she'll jerk a thumb towards Mecga Sonic and then mime shooting herself in the head. And repeat as necessary until they seem to get it.]

[The Magician holds up a screwdriver and points it at Mecha Sonic. Then he holds up a hammer. Then he picks up a few nails and hides them in his pocket.

He'll need a quick way to get onto the robot, though.]

[Thumbs up, science bro.]

[Might need someone else to yeet him at the robot though, her tentacles aren't working great at the moment.]

[Are we yeeting people? Erik glances over at Ales and makes like a "can I pick you up and throw you" motion. It's fine. We're all doing fine.]

[He walks backwards, towards Erik. Do it.]

[This might be a little overwhelming, Ales, because Erik's basically seen no point in using the powers eating thing Heart-Shaped Herb gives him up until this point. The motion he makes to pick up Ales, lift him, and then yeet him directly at Mecha Sonic is absolutely superhuman and happens in a matter of seconds.

You know, also his aim is pretty good anyway so Ales is headed directly toward Mecha Sonic.]

[HE DID NOT EXPECT A HUMAN TO BE THIS STRONG.]

Waugh!

[He holds out his hands to brace himself for impact, and he hits Mecha Sonic's head with a thunk, his hat and wig flying off, but his tools are still on him. He's going to flip off Erik sometime later, but for now, one hand is holding onto a spike and the other jams the end of the screwdriver into one of the seams in Mecha Sonic's head.]

The screwdriver is successfully lodged, and you’ve got his attention as he turns the chain gun onto Ales, about to fire off.]

OFF OF ME, INSECT!

I'm a Teensie!

[He shoves his arm against the handle to pry off the panel.]

[Okay, you’ve got it off! Frustrated that his chain gun isn’t working, Mecha Sonic thrusts out his palm in a forceful strike, attempting to shove him off.]

Haha!

[He holds his screwdriver in triumph! Their victory is certain--]

OOF.

[And Mecha Sonic slaps him onto the floor, sending the screws and nails in his pockets all over.]

[ Yomiel catches the movement that Olivia is doing. He doesn't do anything for a moment, but straightens up when the panel gets ripped off Metal Sonic and Ales goes flying.

He turns to whoever's nearby and clearly has a weapon: ] Hey, I need to you do me a favor.

[If by "weapon" you mean "grabbed some nearby junk while Ales was doing his thing," Erik's here.]

'sup?

[ Erik'll do. He doesn't reply for another beat, like he's trying to decide on something. ]

I need you to kill me.

[Today just be like this apparently.]

You better have a really good plan for being a ghost.

[We're just gonna assume there's some kind of metal pipe lying around and that's what Erik picked up, because he's just gonna twirl it unnecessarily and then shove it through Yomiel's chest. He stopped asking questions like an hour ago. Someone says "kill me" and he's like "already done."]

... We'll see.

[ The nice part is that it's instant. A little too familiar for comfort, but whatever, it's what'll get him there quicker. He slumps over and hits the ground pretty unceremoniously. ]

[ Rex's voice comes out in a whisper, making sure that the already distracted robot doesn't notice him, but he says it to the closest person who isn't already preoccupied in this fight.]

[He tosses up the emerald towards Mim. Catch!]

[Mim catches it in her beak, then drops Rex and promptly turns into an elephant, the emerald curled up in her trunk.]

Who wants to see me stomp this into tiny little pieces!?
