[....Well, that's a relief. Good Cop skips across the hall to the costume room, hoping to get some fresh digs for the day after there Certainly Aren't any bodies anywhere.]

It isn’t.

You have little trouble entering the room, thanks to your size. Looks like you shimmied under the door there. Good for you, copper. You’ll notice that the door is sealed from the inside. Namely, the door is completely perfectly covered in duct tape, and there’s rope tied to the knob, connecting it to a nearby costume rack. You’d probably be able to open it with a little bit of strength from the outside, but if you were person-sized, this room is near impossible to escape. Might want to fix that.

...after you give this scene a look, maybe. This whole place is a mess. Especially that big pool of blood on the floor. There’s a lot to take in, but that should more likely than not be the most important thing here.

Good Cop lets out a small, horrified gasp as he places his hands over his mouth, staring at the pool of red on the ground. He'll deal with the door later, the more important thing is that he has to do his job--identifying the body.]

I'll handle this.

[Bad Cop switches in, grimacing at the blood and slowly making his way around towards the corpse. What do they look like? And, more importantly, does he recognize them unlike last week's strange bearded man?]

[This is in fact the body of someone who is not a Muppeteer! Thank goodness Carol Spinney isn’t here.

She’s very much surrounded by things that would indicate foul play, but you should note that the body itself seems relatively clear of mutilation. Save for a very very prominent stab wound to the chest. The face is very much intact, though, so even with the very odd outfit she’s currently in...weeeelll, she’s plenty identifiable.

McKayla Hopper is dead.]

[Darn, darn, darn, darn. She was just a kid, wasn't she?

Bad Cop grits his teeth, then skitters over to the door to shout at the top of his lungs:]

HEEEEEEEEEEEY! SOMEBODY OPEN THIS DOOR!

[The door just flies off the hinges as a giant purple bird kicks it in.]

You rang?

[clawhands]

[Bad Cop lets out a startled yelp, but then Good Cop shows up and promptly salutes Madam Mim.]

Yes, ma'am! There's a body here! Ms. McKayla Hopper died! Before you broke in, the door was locked up tight from the inside!

[madmadam]

[Poof! She turns back to normal.]

Oh! A corpse! What a lovely prize!
